Conway, SC — Health Care Partners of South Carolina (HCPSC) marked a significant milestone on Friday, May 16, with a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new 50,000-square-foot facility in downtown Conway. The event drew local leaders, healthcare champions, and community supporters to celebrate the expansion of comprehensive care in Horry and Marion counties.

Located at 1500 4th Avenue, the new facility is designed to unify HCPSC’s full range of services under one roof—offering primary care, pediatrics, dental, optometry, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, pharmacy, and its award-winning diabetes program in a single, accessible location.

“This groundbreaking is a pivotal moment for HCPSC and the communities we serve,” said Santina Mayo, CEO of Health Care Partners of South Carolina. “By consolidating services into one location, we are making healthcare more accessible and coordinated for our patients.”

The project, managed by Mashburn Construction, reflects a long-term investment in community health infrastructure. Completion is expected in Fall 2026.

Guest speakers included Senator Kent Williams, Representative Roger Kirby, and community advocate Vicki Young, who applauded HCPSC’s ongoing commitment to providing affordable, high-quality healthcare—regardless of one’s ability to pay.
