During the luncheon, NHFHS was honored to be recognized with a Community Partner Spotlight - during which our President & CEO, J. Brandon Gaffney, spoke on the longstanding partnership between the two organizations. The collaboration between the NHFHS Healthcare for the Homeless Program and United Ministries dates back to 2005. The first memorandum of agreement was signed by Elizabeth Templeton and Regina Mitchell. This partnership is now stronger than ever.
While United Ministries serves individuals and their families experiencing scarcity by providing basic needs for stability and supportive services to achieve self-sufficiency, NHFHS seeks to provide those same individuals and their families with a medical home where they can receive healthcare services that can improve their daily lives.
Together, United Ministries and NHFHS work towards one common goal - to empower individuals and communities to thrive. By giving individuals access to the resources and opportunities they need, both organizations can make a lasting impact on the communities we serve. This collaboration is a testament to the power of working together towards a shared vision for a better tomorrow.
